Ha! You guys (and any gals out there) didn't even catch my mistake! I put in an article that the 1950 Indians won 113 games and lost the series to St. Louis. Well, folks, it was the 1951 Cleveland Indians who won 113 games and lost to the Giants. That was the year of "The shot heard around the world" and the famed Willie Mays over-the-shoulder catch, on the dead run. And we all know who hit it! I hope so, if not, it's a good trivia question for you. Sorry for the mistake! METS are still in first! -- Scott A.
