After recovering from a crash course in Navy protocol (by about ten of youze guys), I'd just like to say that the reason I mentioned MISTER Saavik was I believed it a possible explanation for her undergoing pon farr. I previously believed that only the Vulcan males go through the agony (Especially every seven years, Mr. Spock goes off his gears....) Since Vulcan females do not have such a cycle, and somewhere on net.startrek someone mentioned that Saavik experienced pon farr, it's only logical :-( [bad pun, I know!] that Saavik is a male. >>> Is this guy serious? ..... ZARK OFF!!! I am (or was) serious, Judy. At least the Excelsior doesn't look like a running shoe. :-) -- From the Big Briar-modified terminal of nfqstuwxy; Jim Poltrone (a/k/a "Poltr1: The Last of the Raster Blasters") UUCP: {hao, harpo}!seismo!rochester!rocksanne!rocksvax!sunybcs!acsgjjp (or) decvax!watmath!sunybcs!acsgjjp ARPA, CSnet: acsgjjp.buffalo@rand-relay
