For anyone who is interested, there will be
a "Dr. Who/Star Trek" Convention in Chicago
on July 21-22 at the Continental Hotel 
(505 North Michigan Avenue, Chicago, IL,
USA, Earth). Tickets are $8.00 at Ticketron
outlets. Special guests will be George Takei
and Mary Tamm (Romana from Dr. Who).

I attended a con at this hotel in March.
It was "o.k." except for when a member
of the audience asked James Doohan
"Why did Mr. Spock put his hand on your
head and say 'remember'?" God - how
embarrassing! Mr. Doohan calmly replied
that it was actually DeForest Kelly
but the drunk wouldn't take no for an
answer. But otherwise it was fun.
