The best combination for maximal affect with minimal pain seems to be
barbiturates with a good chaser of something like Jack Daniels. An added
benefit is that people need to be looking closely to tell that you aren't
simply sleeping (if you try it in a group situation or party).

Tylenol is MUCH better for overdoses. The body has significantly less
tolerance to large doses of ingredients. My mother, who works in a
hospital, says that they are constantly seeing people coming in with
Tylenol overdoses (this isn't Tylenol specific, BTW. Many aspirin free pain
relievers use the same ingredients). Tylenol also reacts more strongly with
aspirin. The pharmacists my mother work with have told the staff to use
something other than Tylenol (or equivalents) because the dosages are much
more critical and they simply don't trust it under all circumstances
because there is such a (relative) fine line between getting rid of your
headache and getting rid of your liver (and other body organs).
