She also encourages Bo to get more involved in her father's business. She tells Bo that her part in the business is researching invest- ments for her father. If he is interested, he invests in them. They discuss their child and Bo tells Meagan that he talked to Don Craig (lawyer) about the situation and that Don told him the adoptive parents are protected under the law as is the child and that the real parents have few rights, if any, to the child after they sign it over. Meagan asks Bo if he hates her for letting their child be adopted and Bo says no. Meagan tells Bo that she still cares for him but that she knows he still loves Hope. He tells her that he doesn't. (He has to keep the fact that he loves Hope and they are back together under wraps so as not to endanger anyone's lives). Chris tells Pete that he knows Pete went to see Mickey Horton in the hospital and that Mickey told Abe that he didn't see who shot him. He also knows that Pete and Melissa are not seeing each other any more. Diane goes to see Marlena Evans for professional help. She tells Marlena that she came from a very unhappy childhood and that she never knew her father and that she lived with her mother who constantly had men around. Diane tells Marlena that she has a son that she had to put into a foster home because she had to go back on the streets as a prostitute to make a living. Diane communicates with him by telephone but he doesn't really respond to her. Meagan tells her father that she is in love with Bo and that she always has been. She starts crying and Maxwell tells her that he will have to find a way to bring them together again. Carlo and Neil talk about the guns that Carlo purchased to send to South America to help his people. Neil tells Carlo not to do anything else that might risk getting Carlo deported. He tells Carlo to send for his mother because she is in danger and Neil wants her to live in the United States. Carlo is happy about that. He misses his mother and worries about her safety. Neil tells Carlo to get into law school like Carlo had originally intended to do before he was sidetracked with his attempt to help his people by sending guns to them. Neil is like a surrogate father to Carlo. He risked his life to bring Carlo to the United States and he watches over Carlo. Carlo lives with Neil and Liz in their mansion. Bo shows up at Shenanigan's with Meagan. Bo tells her that she is very special and that he loved her once, but that was a long time ago. He encourages her not to love him like she once did. Bo tells Meagan that she will find someone nice someday. He then goes to talk to Diane who just walked into Shenanigan's and he asks how her sessions with Marlena are going. He gives her a hug and tells her he is there when she needs a friend. Pete gives Tess a note from a man who is looking for Tess. Tess gets really upset and when Pete tries to ask her about the note, she just tells Pete she will take are of it. She asks Pete is he shot Mickey Horton. He doesn't answer and walks away. Harold Daly is a customs official paid by Maxwell's men to look the other way whenever Maxwell has something come through his import/ export company and through customs. At this time, it is Maxwell's modern art collection that is coming through customs. Maxwell bought an art gallery to exhibit his modern art collection in. Some of the art that has come in is called (get this) "Hacker 1 - Hacker 5". They are art pieces that have floppy disks in the center of the art as the main concept of the piece. What that really is, of course, is a front. Those diskettes have information on them that is valuable to Maxwell. Harold takes one of the diskettes off the art piece and puts it into his system that is in his customs office. He sees the words "Prisms for Power" and then a bunch of coded numbers. He does not know what they mean. One of the modern art pieces that Maxwell had come through customs and that is now sitting in Maxwell's office is a crystal sculpture of different colored and sized prisms. (I guess we the audience will learn the significance of all of this soon. Right now it doesn't make much sense). ------------------------------------------------------------------------ Marie Carey ...seismo!carey
