Even the manual says it is suppose to send them. One of the great lossages is that people insist on selling terminals with the assumption that you never really want to do any work on them at speeds greater than 1200 baud. Now, I can accept this moronic approach for things like teletypes and diablos because of the problems of high speed moving parts but there is no excuse in this day an age for solid state terminals to do so. My VT52 compatible terminal cost less than a VT100 and has fancier editing features and can run at 19,200Kbaud continuously without the need to interrupt the computer. C'mon, Doug. Admit that DEC does a lousy job of designing terminals. -Ron
