I'm looking at storing some security information in .profile (Sys III) and want to prevent other people from getting at it. From reading the manual, I get the feeling that an "environment" is private to a process. Am I off track? I haven't really considered encryption. Is it a viable option? Thanks in advance, -- John Bossert Boeing Computer Services Seattle, WA uw-beaver!ssc-vax!bossert
