They are NOT 782s. Both CPUs connect to the same SBI, and you get 1.7 to 1.9 thruput increase for a cost of ~$50000 in parts or just buy a used CPU. Purdue Dual 780s have been in production since 1981. We believe that a 3B20A is its closest cousin.
