I have a non-portable VHS machine, with a 1/4 inch jack (seems like the size of a typical large headphone jack). The camera, however, comes with a a multi-pin plug about an inch in diameter. My question is, is there any chance that the plugs are somehow compatible???? The camera seems such a good deal that I don't want to pass it up (I've seen plain b/w cameras go for more). If not, can one get a compatible portable recorder for a few bucks (say $200), minus associated tv electronics???? Thankx in advance. Ihor Kinal.
