I was promised an answer to my question in this month's video magazine, but
I cannot find it. If someone knows, how about filling me in?

If PCM recording is a way to use an ordinary VCR for high-quality audio
recording, I could be interested if the investment is not too high. My
Zenith Beta has a switch on the back for it.
