Company called VAST in Minneapolis sell rather inexpensive kits to allow fast-fwd, freeze-frame, and slow motion conversions; these require the soldering of a few wires to PC boards. I have a 1980-vintage (2d generation) VHS portable that I'd like to have fast-fwd on and would like to know where on the boards to solder. If anybody knows, a reply would be appreciated. J. Frey
