You could have used the Sony tuner with the Proton 600M monitor; they're
compatible.  Reviews I've read say that the Proton tuner is a better tuner
(more sensitive, etc.), but is less flexible than the Sony.  I use the tuner
in my SL-2700, so this doesn't bother me.

BTW, there was a review of the Proton 619 in the latest Video Review.
