He also said that he had called his Quasar distributor asking about the VHS Hi-Fi units he had been promised. He was told that there was an indefinite hold on them as there were some serious technical problems with the units. Panasonic, which makes Quasar's VCRs, did ship a few to the stores but has also stopped distribution.
