I am looking to control a Super 8mm movie camera by connecting it to either a Centronics parallel port or (less desirably) an RS-232 port. The intent is to be able to photograph graphic images automagically w/out having to hang around while they are being computed. Surely this is a solved problem - could anyone share a solution with me? My camera simply needs a closed switch contact so it sounds to me like I want to drive a small relay - I'm just not sure how to do that. Thanks in advance... -- Cheers...
