I am assuming that I can't charge the total cost of the mortgage, and am counting on depreciation to make up the difference. In addition, how does one calculate depreciation on property where one lived previously? I lived in my condo one year, and am looking to rent it now. How does depreciation work from this point? Please reply by mail, as I do not subscribe to these newsgroups. Thanks in advance.
