For what it's worth, here's my Sangria recipe (adapted from La Cocina,
Pittsfield MA):

   750 ml red wine (Lambrusco works well)
   3/4 c. orange juice
   1 jigger (1.5 oz.) brandy
       "      "      Triple Sec
   Various sliced fruits
 
   Mix liquids; float fruits on top; chill.
