   Insistence on hymen as a sign of virginity is an excellent example of
   how social conditioning makes one blind to clear facts, i.e., that
   hymen has nothing to do with virginity. Good reasons are NOT good
   enough. The conditioning must wear off with passing of time or 
   becoming more experienced or some drastic, personal event.
