MN Lines: 10 Actually, women's clothing (Western women's, mostly) can and does have an indirect influence on the frequency of needing to urinate. Wearing tight jeans, leotards, nylon underwear, or pantyhose increases the likelyhood of getting a urinary tract or bladder infection, and THOSE make one need (or think one needs) to urinate EVERY 5 MINUTES!!
