It seems VM is going to make out ok.

I just heard that she'll be appearing opposite Linda Rondstadt in
Joe Papp's upcoming production "La Boheme"(sorry no accents on this keyboard)

As to her photo session , was she not paid for it ?
More than likely underpaid but certainly no different than any
other young woman needing the money.
These standard release forms should probably rewritten with an 
expiration date in them,with allowances for renewal just like
any other contract.So if the market for the photographs goes up 
the model would then be able to demand more money or scrap the
contract.
