Message-ID: <4909@utcsrgv.UUCP> Date: Sat, 14-Jul-84 00:22:32 EDT Article-I.D.: utcsrgv.4909 Posted: Sat Jul 14 00:22:32 1984 Date-Received: Sat, 14-Jul-84 02:31:11 EDT Organization: CSRI, University of Toronto Lines: 18 Since the fa.info-mac gateway seems to be working well and is only slightly behind the direct mailings from Sumex, I won't be posting any more INFO-MAC material to this group. It can remain to discuss Mac goings-on in Ontario. Speaking of which, it would be interesting to hear what special development projects people are working on. Here's what we're doing: The Dynamic Graphics Project has 2 Lisa 2's (no hard disks) bought to expose 3rd year undergraduates in a graphics course to a direct manipulation user interface. Beyond this, however, various members of the group will be doing individual research, with the foci of my efforts being programming environments and document preparation. Tentatively, I think Microsoft BASIC and MacPascal (when it comes out) are suitable for prototyping while I hope to use SUMacC for bigger programs. So, what are you doing/hope to be doing with your Mac/Lisa? p. rowley, U. Toronto
