The first issue of the Canadian Artificial Intelligence Newsletter is in
the mail, and all members of CSCSI/SCEIO should receive their copies by the end
of the week.

Material for the next issue (December 1984) is due 15 November.  It's already
time to start thinking about sending something.  Mail electronically to the
undersigned, or use Canada Post to:

If you aren't a member of CSCSI yet, you can join by sending $10 ($5 for
students, and $2 discount for CIPS members) to CIPS, 243 College Street, 5th
floor, Toronto	M5T 2Y1.  (Hurry! fees are going up soon!)  All members
automatically receive the Canadian A.I. Newsletter, and will be able to
subscribe to the new journal Computational Intelligence for $16.  The normal
rate will be $37, so membership is a really good deal!
