Subject: A/D & D/A converter for LISA

I am interfacing a Lisa 2/10 to a ground probing (impulse) radar as part
of my research here at the Thayer School.  I need to digitize an analog
signal at ~10KHz, 12 bit resolution, and also generate similar signals
for output with a digital to analog converter.  I have not found a commercial
source as yet of such a device, so I am at present prototyping an A/D & D/A
board for the LISA. Has anyone done anything along these lines?
Sharing hardware designs &/or software could save me a lot of work.
