If a dialup line overloads it, it resets the host connection and hangs up the phone line. Even during the middle of a Sunday night, it is necessary to use 300 baud in order to upload moderately long (~20K) files successfully using macget. Oh well... Sorry if I caused anyone to go looking for bugs in MacTerminal with my earlier post. At that time, I was only thinking about the Mac and the Vax, and not the Front End connection between the Mac and the Vax. . .
