US Patent 4,464,652 granted to Apple Computer patents the use
of a menu bar and sub-menus in conjunction with a mouse using
"pull-down" style.

I expect these patent claims will be challenged by Microsoft and IBM
since Xerox Star had a pull-down menu in 1980 (the only difference
here is that Star only had a single "icon" in its "menu bar").
