About 8 years after his death, I visited my grandmother, who was 88 at the time. I fixed a couple of things around the house that needed doing, and she gave me lunch. At lunch time she took out a water glass, filled it half full of Canadian Club, and drank it down. I stared in horror at this, waiting for her to drop dead or pass out. She smiled and said, "I was having trouble with my legs, and the young doctor, such a nice boy, said to lie down in the afternoon for an hour or so, and to have a drink to relax me. I remember your Grandfather having a drink and doing that.So I have been doing the same. And I feel so much better!" I might add that she died a year later, due to a fall from her porch, while sweeping it. Patrick ("Arr, just a little drop never hurt a fly... Killed a lot of good men though!") Powell
