I just purchased a sheffield cd and in reading
the booklet, it mentioned something about using
a cd player that compensates for the "11.34 microsec"
channel delay that occurs in digital recording....

Can anyone provide further info on this?

I've got a yamaha cd-x1 and can't see anything in
its manual or technical specs about this delay.

Does anyone know which model cd players have this
compensation feature?
