My brother plans to add one to his system soon, and asked me to ask around. He currently has an almost-all-NAD system with a Revox linear-tracking table. He plans to use a separate NAD amp to drive the subwoofer, and would like some suggestions on crossovers (between his NAD preamp and the bass/everything-else NAD amps) and the subwoofers themselves. Any ideas? BTW, he has an M.S. in music. Since his instrument is tuba, he is "into" bass! Gary Fritz {ihnp4,hplabs}!hpfcla!hpfclk!fritz PS: He's also looking at the NAD CD player. (Let's hear it for subject drift!) Anybody heard anything good/bad about it? Does it use the Phillips quadruple-hyperdrive decoding system, or the more pedestrian double-barrel carburetor? :-) Tnx! GF
