(Subjective measurements are still measurements.) CDs have less, on the average, clicks and pops, than vinyl. But when measured by the important (admittedly subjective) measurement -- is it listenable -- vinyl is better, on the average, than CD. This is because no CD's are listenable, whereas some vinyl is.
