I am presently doing this swap into a Pontiac GTO. Some interesting problems (adjustments) came up: Chevy starters are on the passenger side as are the alternators - Pontiac on the driver's side Chevy batteries, same thing. Chevy fuel pumps, same thing. My greatest concern is the clutch linkage; Chevy and Pontiac share many of the same pieces BUT, the "Z" bar is different. Does anyone know if I can just bolt up the Pontiac clutch linkage as it is to the Chevy small block? Dan Dawdy (ATTISL - HOLMDEL) 201-834-3650
