Lines: 13 I had the same problem with my Toyota once. It seems the dealer, during one of the regular service stops, had painted something on the Catalitic converter. Whenever the CC warmed up, the smell of rotten eggs began to seep into the car. I could not find out what it was and the dealer never offered an explanation. I only found out a few years later when a friend mentioned that he had the same problem and had found out what it was. I was accusing everyone in the house of spilling something in the back seat for 6 months. Boy, what a smell. Check out your CC and see if it was serviced with this gunk. If it was, good luck, the smell hangs on for quite awhile. T. C. Wheeler
