Another car had hit a light post, and when my friend came to the same spot, he didn't see it in time and totaled his VW diesel truck. He's now in the market for a new truck. He was surprised to find that his insurance co. took off $200 for the diesel, so he might go with gas power this time around. Since his diesel got 35mpg, he is hoping to find a truck with similar mileage. I assume that he isn't as interested in tire-screeching power. I've already warned him off the S-10/S-15 for the oil-leakage problem. Can any of you offer any suggestions as to what he should go with? Anybody have direct experience, horror stories, praise? Thanks in advance, kitten~ {ucbvax!unisoft | scgvaxd | trwrb}!pertec!kitten
