How about everybody starting a petition against banning unleaded gas?
There are thousands of cars out there that run on regular fuel, and
they would have to use more expensive unleaded gas, as well as maybe
even requiring hich-octane unleaded fuel.  Even now, many European new
cars use leaded fuel.

I can understand, and maybe even accept, requiring new cars to use
unleaded gas, but not the ones already on the road.

Fight back!
