The following is a summary of all the responses I received for my
question regarding the costs of the photo licenses.

I can make a few observations:

- The Ontario new rates (about $20 CDN) are not excessive, even if
they are near the high end of the range.

- Most states license for 4 years; in Canada it's 3 years.

- Some costs may be off by a bit; I recall I had three responses for
New Jersey: $17.50, $18.00 and $18.50.
