1)  I have never flown anything with a stick, so I ask: Do pilots prefer
    a stick because it was the first thing they learned on, because it 
    is macho, or because it really is better?

2)  Would you feel comfortable flying with someone who held the stick
    between his knees while fumbling with a map? (Or anything else?)
