The USAF "scrapyard" is Davis-Monthan AFB outside of Tuscon, AZ. In addition
to USAF aircraft, they also have US Army aircraft, but I don't know about
US Navy models. It's probably a fun place to poke around, if you were so
allowed, but I understand you have to watch out for rattlesnakes and
assorted critters living in the aircraft nooks and crannies.
