Well, I bought my bike this weekend.  I ended up with a 12 speed
SR.  Cro-Mo double butted frame, Shimano components.  I'm happy with
it, and feel like I got a good deal.  (Please don't tell me I made
a mistake.  I don't want to know)  The bike is a little more expensive
(well, with helmet, pump, etc, a lot more expensive) than I had hoped,
but I'm thinking more and more of riding it for exercise as well as
commuting, so I figured I might as well get something I'd be happy with.

I'd like to thank everyone who responded.  Previous requests to the net
for help (in other groups) have always resulted in one or two responses.
I got no less than 10 responses from this group!  Well done.  Thank you.
