Zot: Proof that a comic book does not have to be drawn in a realistic manner to be serious. A fairly chilling assasination scene at the end. I think we have a revolution stirring in the Sirius system. Who caught Zippy the Pinhead in this one? K & W: Okay, the writer has to be on drugs. Why do comic book writers have a fixation on operant conditioning (what *they* think is operant conditioning, anyway)? Really, guys (if you're out there reading this) for a very small fee, a psych student in the middle of the Indiana cornfields would tell you some really *neat* ways of messing up poeple's minds. JLA: Interesting. Now if they can convince the inker/colourist to make sure that Paco/Vibe's little goat beard stays on in each of the shots, I would be a lot happier. I like the idea of using characters we don't see in 6 other titles every month. X-Men annual: Well, the 'golden laundry pen' award goes to Steve Leihaloa (whatever, I don't have a copy with me) for some really terrible artwork. Interesting allegorical tale, though. I am always happy to see Wolverine in a different light (re: the story at the beginning). The man is turning out not to be the brainless psychotic of a few years back. If you haven't checked out Amazing Heroes, they are running a looooong story on the X-Men (Sept 1 issue). Laurie pucc-k:afo
