My wife and I attend some of these as a form of entertainment. We find it amusing to play games (in an honest manner) with the salespeople. (When one vacation resort salesman asked where we would like to go on a vacation, we said Nepal. He asked if that was an island someplace. Neither he nor his supervisor had ever heard of it. We took pity and explained it was a country well known for its mountain scenary.) As far as worthwhile prizes go, our last outing collected us a very nice clock in a cabinet that looks like a grandfather clock. Of course, the pendolums don't swing, and the weights don't move, and the clock is powered by a single AA cell. But it looks very nice, and we have received many compliments on this beautiful piece of furniture. (We also got a 35mm instamatic camera - I say instamatic because it had no settings and no focus capability.) One of our friends visited a campground and returned with a men's Seiko digital watch that retails for >$150. It was also the "standard gift". -- ________ ( ) Don Stanwyck @( o o )@ 312-979-3062 ( || ) Cornet-367-3062 ( \__/ ) ihnp4!ihuxr!stanwyck (______) Bell Labs @ Naperville, IL
