I quote from the back of my old draft card: The law requires you to have this certificate in your personal possession at all times and to surrender it upon entering active duty in the Armed Forces. ... "In your possession" does not mean "on your person" (I checked about that once). I didn't like the draft either (at one time, I filed conscientious objector papers)--but please get your facts straight before flaming about it. -- Dana S.
