What is worse than having to give a credit card and liscence for check
identification is having the clerk run off with check,credit card 
and liscense  to find his/her boss to verify
it(what does their boss know about my check that they don't?).  
My husband insists on going with them-they are amused most of the time,
but when he did it at Field's and Lord and Taylor, they were annoyed.
