Our vax and pyramid serial ports go out to the modem. At my desk there is a modem. Out of the modem comes two cables. One cable is RS232 to the 9600 baud terminal I'm on, the other a regular modular phone cord. I can talk and compute at 9600 baud at the same time. This means NO extra wiring in our new building. There is plenty of bandwidth on the phone lines. teltone!warren
