International, Menlo Park, CA Lines: 11 At the moment, at least, UNIX-style links are just not possible under VMS. You can make a link to a file, but there is no reference count kept by VMS -- so deleting any link to a file (or the original file itself) will cause all the other links to dangle. One solution I am considering is to use 4.2BSD style symbolic links whenever a regular link is requested. Objections????
