Sure, I could probably kill someone with a shovel, or an axe,
but he/she would have to stand still for a long time.
And I sure couldn't kill twenty-nine people (in one hour).

The things you mention are produced and used to slice potatoes and
dig trenches and graves for dead people.
The *design goal* for UZIs and handguns is to *kill people*.

I agree with you wholeheartedly on the need for punishment of criminals.
