  After being flamed and getting a couple of pieces of mail regarding that 
article, I decided it was time to reply publicly. Actually, I'm glad that
Carl D. *did* flame me, for it let me know exactly what his problem with
me is. He neglected to mention his objections to my followup article in
his original mail message to me. Now that I know, I do apologize to the 
net for being a little quick on the 'f' key. The original article (not
posted by me) was posted to all these newsgroups. Again my apologies to 
the net -- specifically *not* to Carl D.

  To Carl -- had you mentioned what your objections were in your mail message,
I would have considered myself properly chastised and rendered an apology
both to you and the net, however, when you start a message to a total
stranger with 'Cutt the crap, pal' and don't progress beyond that level
of intelect, what can you expect?

  I hope this clears up things with the net. Carl D. -- I have several 
things to suggest to you, but most of them are anatomicaly improbable.
The next time you have anything to say to or about me, please send them
to /dev/where the light doan' shine.
