In agreement with:

What makes you think that the press has EVER had any integrity?  All
that matters is the flashy story and the scoop.  Watch your favorite
news program on TV or read TIME magazine and think about WHY the
particular story is shown.  Also, consider the slant of the news
politically as the newspeople (sometimes not very subtly) inject their
own political persuasion into the news.
