What your story demonstrates a need for is not gun control, but Juvenile control! If guns were hard to come by, these sort of "destruction for the fun of it" people would still find a way to destroy and kill. If they couldn't 'borrow' a gun from one of their "hunter" or "farmer" fathers, they would find some other weapon. When a person has measles, do you prescribe acne medicine for the red spots on his/her face? Why, then, would you prescribe gun control for senseless random violence?
