There is a publicly-available FORTRAN rewrite of the original ZORK, called DUNGEON, available from DECUS. One problem with it is that the dungeon database is a binary file, so you have to arrange to read it successfully if you don't have a compatible FORTRAN system. The code also uses DECisms very heavily.
