    O beautiful for painted eyes
      White teeth, pneumatic breasts
    And shape of thighs that satisfies
      Commercial Interests !

    Amazing esoterica
      Caused grave embarrassment
    When this year's Miss America
      Was in a Pehouse pent

    Her face was dropped from Kellogg's box
      Her crown was repossessed
    As, shaking out her fulgent locks,
      Vanessa evanesced

    Let future aspirants beware
      Their chance to win diminishes
    Unless they can avoid this snare
      That lurks in photo-finishes

    For Penthouse, having seized the chance,
      to make a mint with ease
    Enhanced with great precipitance
      the current taste for sleaze

    O pageant board, the goings rough !
      Why not give future crowns
    To candidates who strut their stuff
      In Mother Hubbard's gowns ?
