The W German "Bild Zeitung" is the largest circulation paper in the country.
And it is a National Enquirer clone! My favorite headline is one I saw there in
1965:

	WOMAN THROWS POODLE FROM SPEEDING CAR

	(FRAU WIRFT PUDEL AUS SCHNELLFAHRENDEN AUTO)(!)

    Maybe you had to be there. It seemed to sum up that whole school of
Journalism.

    "Please prepare yourselvs for a period of simulated exhilaration"
