Most everyone knows about acronyms such as
FUBAR
SNAFU
TANJ etc
(F---ed Up Beyond All Repair-- there are still discussions going on as to
          whether the three missing letters are 'uck' or 'oul' in the original
 Situation Normal, All F---ed Up -- similar discussion
 There Ain't No Justice)

How about some more?

BOHICA -- Bend Over, Here It Comes Again

Some of my Navy buddies have given me some others that are in current use,
but they're pretty Navy-specific.
